The Ivy Piano Studio is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and dedicates itself to producing remarkable, classically-trained pianists of any age. Marie Powers Ellis, a Royal Conservatory of Music Teacher of Distinction, specializes in combining Suzuki Piano Pedagogy with the curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Her students have been awarded RCM Certificates of Excellence, Gold and Silver Medals, and have performed at RCM Celebrations of Excellence. The Ivy Piano Studio dedicates itself to the highest-quality classical piano instruction, as there is simply no substitute for the original, infinitely-expressive, analog instrument.
